That's a wrap for 2024!

I'm happy to announce the last release of miaocast (v2024.6) for the year, which includes many quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes. This release will rollout over the next few days and hopefully will be fully rolled out before 2025 rolls around.

History in Queue Tab

The Queue tab now displays your recently played episodes, making it easier to revisit episodes you've listened to or quickly get back to that one episode you accidentally marked as played.

Pull to Refresh

Want a quick way to refresh your podcasts? With v2024.6, you can now refresh your library content by pulling down on the home, inbox, and library tabs. This gesture makes it more convenient to check for new episodes and brings consistency with pull to refresh on podcast screen to refresh a single podcast.

The refresh timestamp on library tab now also show the relative time since last refresh, so you don't have to do math to figure out when last refresh happened.

Per Podcast Settings Improvement

The per-podcast settings now highlights settings that differ from your global defaults, making it easier to identify which setting is customized for a particular podcast.

Settings that differs from the global defaults shows a dot and uses different background color.

Improved Episode Selection

New bulk selection feature allows you to select all episodes above or below a particular episode, making it much easier to select multiple episodes at once. With this feature, you can easily mark old episodes as played when you migrated from your old podcast app to miaocast.

• Fixed dynamic theme when using custom podcast covers
• Fixed several crashes and UI inconsistencies
• Fixed app not being recognized as a media player
